Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I am licensed as a clinical psychologist in the states of Hawaii and Virginia. I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders as well as depression, adjustment-related difficulties, and anxiety. I provide evidence-based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults. I have training in CBT for Depression, Unified Protocol (UP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and completed internship and postdoctoral residency in various rotations in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. I have since been employed in a hospital medical setting where I treat, and supervise the treatment of, adults with PTSD and other co-occurring disorders (i.e., depression, anxiety, etc.).
Relevant Work Experience Other Than Private Practice
In addition to the above mentioned work experience, I am employed as a clinical psychologist for an online healthcare platform. I also worked in a Forensic Psychology Practice assisting with conducting assessments for court-involved parents and children. Lastly, I was also employed for several years at a community management association.
